Place is nice and has a lot of interesting things to see and a beautiful view
The knowledge and service of the DOC personnel could however be improved and was way better in other locations

Opening hours are 8.30-5pm every day. Thought I would add that information as I couldn't find it when we were on our way there. Very informative visitor centre and the best for nature. Great views too!

Beautiful centre. You can spend a couple of hours learning about the history of the alpines in Mt Cook and the fauna and flora of the surroundings. Clean, well presented, friendly staff and all the information you need to plan your treks. A great visit!
