Please don’t disturb woman at front desk and ask for tourist information! Most rude and unhelpful service in NZ.
Really awful, rude service from Turangi i-SITE. We obviously asked some 'dumb' questions. As a mother with three young children at an information centre, I did not know this was possible. So much eye rolling, sighing, and just blatant rudeness , I have never experienced anywhere before. For what reason I have no idea. RETIRE grumpy lady.

Really nice and helpful.
Good explanations of the Alpine Crossing in Tongariro National Park, kind persons.
Fast booking of Interislander ticket, had to close punctually at 5pm so no more customer service from 4.50pm on. Friendly staff.
Nice help to organise our Tongariro Crossing and finding a fishing shop.
Small - but very friendly people.
Great service and really patient girl. Helped us and knew the area well.
I love the "little" Tongariro park. We can see the Tongariro Alpine crossing and where we go.
They were very helpful getting a bus to Wellington sorted for us.
Helpful and kind staff.
