Located only 6km from Napier by car or 30 minutes on the fantastic Hawke's Bay cycle ways, our holiday park has been designed with motorhomes, campervans, caravans and tents in mind. Our park is small and intimate but with large spacious sites.
Hawke's Bay Holiday Park is very well positioned to take advantage of all that Hawke's Bay has to offer.
We are in walking distance from the fantastic Crab Farm Winery for which we have a reserved table for our guests who wish to dine there on Friday evenings, when they are open for dinner. We are only 5-minutes drive away from the famous Mission Estate Winery and Church Road Winery.
Directly over the road we have access to tennis courts, lawn bowls, pistol shooting and a children's playground.
Summer fruit and produce stalls, supplying Hawke's Bay's finest, are in walking distance just north of us.
There is a surf casting beach 300 metres away that is lovely for either a leisurely morning and evening walk or a jog.
We would love to be your hosts while you explore the beautiful Hawke's Bay region and we hope to make your stay a spectacular experience.

This holiday park has fantastic new owners. The park is located on the cycle way and very close to top Napier wineries - one within walking distance. The facilities are lovely and kept to an incredibly high standard. It is close to the road but the road noise dropped off significantly at night and didn't disturb us at all.

Between the road and marshes. The place breaths calmly from the clean view of the beatiful marshes. The noise of road is not disturbing.
Fully equipped and modern kitchen. Outdoor dinning area; next to the stars. Awesome bathrooms. Not heaps but plenty for everybody.
Kind and helpful staff. A paceful spot in Hawkes Bay.
The 8 eight is due to having tend nearby the kitchen area and the toilets. Generally people are respectful but not always.
So camping 10 out of 10. Our tend spot 8 average.
Hope this helps.

The place is quite small and the people there are very friendly. The kitchen was well equipped and the facilities were clean. The owners were very helpful when my van had a flat battery. The only downside is that it is right beside the SH, which makes it quite noisy.

An ok site. The lady at reception was helpful and put me in the back corner by the facilities and away from most everyone else. I was away from the road, but being right next to the highway there was a fair amount of road noise. You’re directly under the approach and departure path for the airport. Facilities were clean and well laid out. A bit of a walk to the beach and you have to cross the highway. An ok place to stay for the night, but I wouldn’t make it two.

The shower facilities are top drawer. Did not use the kitchen as we had a campervan. But holiday park this isn't, more like a traveller camp. Lots of builders and the like who appear to be semi permanent
Each camping location is approved by a regional council in NZ. So if it shows on the map, you’re allowed to stay.

It is quite close to the main road, but we were lucky and had a powered site on the far side away from the road, and facing the lovely sunset over hills and fields, and couldn't really hear it. The facilities are very clean and of a good standard: bathrooms and laundry. You have to pay for wifi though.

Beautiful location, fantastic setup! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well maintained and the park is very quiet and full of friendly people. The owners are lovely people who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay.
Would definitely recommend!

It's not the prettiest site and not best location, near a busy road, but very convenient. We chose this campsite for the facilities. They were the best of all the campsites we have visited. They even have music in the toilets!

Nice owners. Tent site next to a busy road, you can ask for a site away from the road. Clean and good showers and toilets. No equipment available in the kitchen.

Really close to the road so quite noisy. No EFTPOS, cash only and $17pp for a powered site. Really clean facilities, good showers, friendly staff and simple large kitchen (no pots or utensils provided). 400m walk to the beach. Ok for a stop before Napier but personally wouldn't stay for more than a night (have a look at the amazing free spots South of Napier!). Some really great fruit and vege places around to stop for a shop.

Very well maintained and very clean. Close enough to Napier and to the main roads. Would definitely stay here again

Sites kept meticulously clean. It's apparent that the owner puts lots of consideration into developing this site, just like someone who builds his house for himself and family to live.

Let down by noise throughout the night from the state highway that runs right next to the site and by aircraft landing and taking off at Napier Airport. It is right under the flight path.
Good facilities and a friendly owner compensate to some extent.
