Wonderful way to see the Sound away from the crowds. We took the coach from Te Anau and the driver was brilliant and informative. The cruise was stunning, though we were lucky with the weather conditions which made it worth the experience. Risks being dominated by large tour groups - as an individual couple we were overlooked - eg no place allocated at dinner.

Seemed expensive but was well worth it. Crew excellent, very informative nature guide, saw rare penguins, seals and dolphins. Good food too! Kayaking was great!

We were lucky - we got a good deal and a 4 berth cabin to the 2 of us. Only 19 on board instead of 60!

Great alternative for my husband and I when we were told the avalanche risk was too high to hike the Milford Track. We got to see seals, penguins and AWESOME waterfalls!
