Goldie Bush Walkway can be walked from either Constable Rd or Horseman Rd. From Constable Rd the walkway descends through the Motutara Scenic Reserve to cross Mokoroa Stream then enters the Goldie Bush Scenic Reserve, climbing through coastal forest with regenerating kauri, to exit at Horseman Rd, or return the way you came.
For a longer, more challenging loop walk, the Mokoroa Stream Track leaves the Goldie Bush Walkway at the Mokoroa Stream.
To walk to Mokoroa Falls from Horseman Rd follow the Goldie Bush Walkway for 5 minutes, then turn right onto the Mokoroa Falls Track.

Left from Constable Rd with kids aged 9 and 12 to head to falls in Jan. Didn’t know was for “experienced” trampers otherwise may have not gone, but glad we gave it a go. Long drop and Kauri dieback station at start then 300+ well maintained steps down to a swing bridge where you can choose to go a traditional track or along a stream. We chose the stream following the markers in the hopes of a swimming spot and found one not far along - was about an hour from start to get there with dawdling kids then chose to head back. I believe further along to be a bit more challenging and be prepared to get wet up to waist as saw trampers coming back wet. Shoes or sandals required, although my son did in jandals but slippery in places.

My first walk in New Zealand. The walk to the Falls was exciting and really beautiful.

Quite an adventure tramp! You follow a river and have to cross it several times, sometimes with water up to your hips! Good fun and easy going. About 3 hrs 30 mins return.

The first part (45 minutes) to the falls was nothing special but the way back following the river with multiple crossings is really great. Be prepared to get wet as there is no bridge. Lots of fun! 3 hours return.
