Just a guy
My wife, our 7 month young baby and me liked this campground a lot. We stayed in our station wagon for two weekdays and not on public holiday - therefore it was not crowded. Very kind and helpfull lady at the reception, free wifi, free hot shower, nice kitchen, some unpowered spots with trees on the tent campside. Walking distance (5min) to a countdown supermarket and also not too far away by foot to Paihai.

Great holiday park - good showers, clean kitchen and a lot of room for your campervan. Don't go for the more expensive waterview campsite option, you can basically see the water from every campsite you stay on.

We were there for three nights at a powered site. We found the location great along the water. Close to beaches and only a 15 minute walk up the coast to town.
A wonderful, peaceful place for the night. But this it's winter time and in low season. Facilities were clean and satisfactory. Hot showers at no extra cost. 20 minute walk along the beach into Paihia for good food.
Amazing place!!! Noting to add :)
Loud party in the night, which managers (who even weren't present) didn't consider disturbing and at first refused to believe there even was noise. So I don't recommend if you are looking for a calm place. Otherwise facilities are OK but a bit old but still working. Not many sites in shade!
It is very nice here! Right next to the water! Clean bathroom and toilets! Kitchen has everything you need! Would definetly stay there again! And I can recommend a day trip with the sailingboat „she‘s a lady“ to the islands. We had a great time!
Clean, peaceful pleasant grounds and facilities in a very good location overlooking the estuary of the river. It is close enough to Paihia to walk but distant enough to feel away from the busyness of the tourism. Pricey for a riverfront spot ($60ppn for a powered site-good job we had a Rankers Deal discounting price to $50)
