Took the shuttle in partnership with Kaiteriteri Kayaks to spend a day on the water. The water taxi was kind enough to detour on the way back in order for us to see Split Apple Rock.

We paid for the 'Discovery Day'. It started at 9.45am - boat tour to Totaranui with lots of explanation! Step off at Torrent Bay, walk 6-7km and then the boat back to Kaiteriteri! SUPER DAY!

Discoverer Day; Disappointed with initial boat, no external seating, no hot drinks (can on survuve 9.15 to 11.30 am and no coffee!!!) Seating too low and exposed to spray. The walk Medlands - Anchorage was excellent. Return boat 45 minutes, more comfortable and had COFFEE!!

Full day sailing round the Abel Tasman, if you have good weather jump off and do the 7km trail from Torrents Bay to Bark Bay. Beautiful! Staff were great!!

Before we booked we asked about the walkinghours. The woman informed us incorrect. We thought we had more hours to walk, sit, picnic etc, but instead we had too hurry so much it wasn't fun at all anymore. It was hightide and we had to take the long route instead of the shorter one. So we couldn't sit, relax, enjoy the view, picnic nothing of that kind. Also the hike was long and some parts steep eventhough she said it wasn't so.
We did the Discoverer Day and found it not worth the money. We did see a seal swimming next to the boat four a couple of seconds though. We were with four people, all of us enjoy hiking, but not this day.

We booked the 3 day pass for $150 each. Unfortunately we didnt realise at the time that we could of had a discount for being a top 10 member. The service however was brilliant. We always left on time. We learnt facts on the ride and the skippers, Rory and Greg were brilliant each day making sure we knew where we were walking, tips for viewpoints off the main track and made us feel very at ease about pick up points and the distance to cover each day. For us, this was just a glorified taxi ride. It was a rough day on the seas, so the benefit to going with the Sea Shuttle is that riding in the water taxi would have been even more bumpy and wet. There was some narration about the sites, but it was very hard to hear them and get much out of it. It was nice being dropped off at one point and picked up at another so that we could go for a hike, but next time I'd just use the normal water taxi service.

We had a brilliant day out. Bus picked us up in Motueka and took us to the very pretty Kaiteriteri, from where the boat took us along the coast to Totaranui, stopping along the way to pick up and drop off people. We saw lots of seabirds - gannets and shags especially, seals, and a few penguins. The boat driver was informative too. We were dropped at Bark Bay and walked back the lovely, and well-signposted, if on occasion steep, coast path back to Anchorage - the last km over a sandy estuary when the tide was out. The boat came to the beach to pick us up as promised. A perfect day out.

This is a great way to get to bays and beaches along the coast for swimming, walking or just to admire the scenery. Amazing how these easy access craft just drop you off on a beach. We went to Awaroa Lodge for lunch and return. Anything 'Lodge' in NZ is pricey.

Comprehensive choice of boat and walking trips along the seas shore of the Abel Tasman coastline from Kaiteriteri to Totaranui and back, stop off at Bark Bay in the morning do 2.5 hour walk through the park - great - and back on the boat at 1500.

A great way to see the Abel Tasman National Park. We took the shuttle all the way up from Kaiteriteri to Totaranui and were then dropped off at Bark Bay. We walked to Anchorage, a very beautiful walk with superb views!

Primo to the extremo to the power of a thousand... what a great service! Am so proud to be a Kiwi after visitng the park via Sea Shuttle and so greatful I didnt have to get too far out of my comfort zone in crap weather. The shuttle was my safety and safe it was in horrid conditions. I would have broken into a hundred bits and pieces if I were in the other putty little boats in those waves!!!!!

Water Taxi service in Abel Tasman - including Seal Viewing! (and walk). Good service (incl pick up from Motueka) though some of the info they provided was a bit lacking in detail. E.g what time the courtesy bus was heading back to Motueka which meant I got an earlier water taxi which I might not have done if I had known.
